Froglube works best for me.
My wife suggests using KY
Froglube works best for me.
make sure you take the bolt apart and clean and lube the slides. That's where most of the scratchy noise comes from when running dirty. I use weapon shield and clp to lube and milcom cleaner / degreaser to clean.. but I'm sure you'll hear a lot of different suggestions.
Everyone has their own special stuff and they all work.
Well, except for the gun grease. I tried it and while its ok when its warm out? When its cold outside, think its a a bit sticky and bindey on moving parts.
Majorik is correct, No on WD-40.
Its not a lubricant, its a water displacer and batch #40 that actually worked. Thus its name.
I actually finished refilling my cleaning/lubing tray today (and yes.. its a tackle box in an oven tray. lol).. figured I'd take a pic so I don't have to type all of it up. heh If this tray doesnt get a firearm clean.. then nothing will.
