Lunch time Smiths...

I have lunch with a friend a couple of times a month and hes been talking about selling a couple of his guns.....well today he asks if I will give him $250 a piece for them.....I ask what are they.....both Smith and Wessons NIB.....sure, but I would be robbing you.....we go out to his car and one is a 3" 24-3 and the other is a 6" 586 no dash....NIB like he said...I gave him more than his asking price.....and now they have a new home.....best lunch I think I ever had!!!

My friend has a couple more he wants to move......he said one was a model 66 4" thinks it was factory comped? and says trooper on it???? The other is a 10" .500....I asked him if the Trooper was a Colt....I will ask him to bring the Trooper to lunch today...

I noticed the tag from Welch's, that was a nice shop up in West Lebanon. I was in there a few years back and the old man was in rough shape.
