The rear sight on my M-29 4in is broken so I bought a Cylinder and Slide Extreme Duty fixed rear sight with Dots .and need to replace the front sight its a pin on .the front sight that's on it know is a replacement bought from S&W is a .595 height. with 240 gr. XTP(1030 fps) at 25 yard's its shooting 13 in low .what would be a good replacement height to start at to zero it at 25 yard's. 240 gr Keith wade cutters print the same.

Try this app. Fill in the blanks, and it will tell you the front sight height you will need. Remember, that when measuring handgun front sights, you do not measure the base, only the blade height.
