M-67 S&W

Don't sell the pre-15. Buy the 67, you won't be disappointed. Buy the 586 if you can too. IMO a 6" would not be a good carry choice but a 586 6" is an awesome shooter. WTH, you only live once right? My 15-2, 67 and 586 no dash pictured.

I'm like you, Skeet. I had a pre-15 which was a definite keeper. One of the last things I would ever sell. So when a Model 67 was available locally, I was eager to get the same kind of performance in a stainless package. It's every bit as accurate as the pre-15, but also more suitable for outdoor work. Then my wife shot the Model 67 and requisitioned it for nightstand duty. No problem. Happy wife sleeps soundly and I have an excuse to buy something else for swamp carry.

You liked the 67 so much, why
not get another. Or perhaps
quite handy like the 67, a Model 64
with standard (pencil) barrel could
be another consideration.

Got to follow up on the 67.. I bought it for 675..it was a dash 1. I was at the gun show on Friday and Saturday. I had it on the table changing grips to magnas. A fellow stopped and asked if I would be interested in another S&W..Said sure?? Why not. He had a really nice 19-5. Traded me the 19-5 and 275 cash for the 67? huh?! Anyway my partner at the show decided he wanted the 19 so I sold it to him for 675...so at this point I was up 550 cash. I bought a S&W Bodyguard for 325 in the box with a box of ammo. Then a fellow had a Ruger Single 6 in 32 H&R magnum. Only the 2nd one I have ever seen so I bought it for 475. The Ruger is in like new condition and I only have 250 bucks in it. Had a fellow I met at the gun show who said he had a S&W he wanted to sell...but it was disassembled..Met him Sunday and bought it from him...200 bucks. It's a M19-3 with 4 inch bbl target stocks. Barrel is off and the cylinder is out also. What was up with that? he said his father had done it. It looks unfired but I doubt it. In the original box otherwise. Just have to put the bbl back and cylinder in..Will have another 19. The only downside to the story is.... If I want another 67 I gonna have to do some hunting around. Hard to find locally. And yes...I still have the pre 15

The Bodyguard is a small 380 semiauto. A true hideout piece. BTW at the show rifles weren't selling well. I did sell about 40 lbs of powder and my next to last can of IMR 4759
