It's a nice little package but I wouldn't spend MSRP.

I live in MI and a local sporting goods chain (Dunhams) had the package w/ 25 round for $349 a month or so ago. I picked one up as I liked it better than the quad rail Gen 1 that I have. A week later another store Rural King (picture Tractor Supply on steroids) had the package for $319. It figures.

@$349 was quite pleased. @$319 I would be ecstatic. At $439 I probably would have passed. Look around, I have seen some good prices on gun dot deals.

I've played around with them at my LGS. It seems like a real nice package (although I would add some MBUS sights to it to consider the gun complete.)
They sold the 10 they got in within a week at $389. I would have bought one myself if I didn't already have a 15-22PC all set up with sights and optics already..

I bought one of these through RKGUNS.com (Rural King).

It came WITHOUT the extractor, spring and plunger!!! I was shocked because I already have one of these rifles and it's performed flawlessly. Also the ejector is loose. Now I have to figure out how to send it back in for repair.

Ouch!

The extractor, spring and plunger are easy, the loose ejector is not.

Give S&W a call, they will email you a shipping label, usually from FedEx. Take off the optic and anything else you added. I usually shipping it back in the factory box with in another box to hide all the labeling.

In a couple weeks you have it back good as new.

That's exactly what I did. Enclosed a letter describing the issue(s) and mailed off via FedEx yesterday (11-12-2018) to S&W. I actually used a long triangular shaped FedEx box. Paid nothing to ship......nice FedEx guy at first told me it had to be shipped rush/overnight delivery but after a little research on his part, turns out that only applies to handguns. Rifles can be shipped FedEx ground.

Got it back (Despite 3 missed delivery attempts by FedEx and had to go to the Indianapolis Ground station to pickup...lol....yikes). And it's good as new. Extractor, spring and plunger installed and new barrel installed. Thanks Smith & Wesson. By the way, very very nice packaging. Lots of bubble wrap and foam cushions. Very professional. A+ service!!!:)
