hello....1.0 vs 2.0 full size, there's definitely a difference between how the trigger feels, no one will argue that the 2.0 feels lighter. and shorter than the 1.0, but what I'm looking for is what is the actual weight difference between two stock guns? no Apex or any other modifications....once again I'm referring to full size or compacts.

I worked in a local small brick and mortar gun shop for many years and we sold a BUNCH of M&P's and Glocks. I can say after trying hundreds of M1.0 M&P & Glock triggers, the M1.0 M&P's varied much more from gun to gun than any other handgun I have experienced. The M&P's would vary from around 4.5lbs to in excess of 9.5lbs with standard (not MA) triggers. The feel of the M&P's also varied from fairly smooth to extremely gritty and uneven with a mushy break. Glocks typically went from 5.5lbs to 6.5lbs and had the typical mushiness for which they are known.
The M2.0 M&P's came out after we closed the shop but I now own several and the triggers seem to be smoother and with a cleaner break. I have never bothered to measure the actual poundage of the M2.0's, I have just shot them as is.

Just yesterday I bought a Gen1 M&P 45. The trigger is very smooth and breaks at 6# but feels a bit mushy and has zero audible or felt reset.
Calling Apex tomorrow to see what cures those very minor faults. If the gun were to be solely used for SD, it would need nothing. For range use, I prefer a better trigger.

My 2.0 .40 3.6" had a 7.5 pound crappy trigger pull from the factory

hello...well all my 2.0s with the exception of my shield and shield Plus.... have lite triggers.. at least feel lite, I'm assuming there 5 lb or less...but I don't have a trigger gauge. but they're definitely lighter than my Glocks... which are supposed to be 5.5 lbs.
I don't know about the 40s but I know for a fact the m&p 45s have a red striker spring which is increased weight I believe 7.5lbs.
my friend has a 45 and his striker spring is definitely red and heavier...

About the "feel" of the 1.0 trigger. We bought several hundred of them very early (MPB serial prefix, the second 10,000 made). Starting transition training, the triggers were gritty, most of the better shooters shot low, left. After 40 hours & Ghu knows how many rounds, the triggers were much better. A few examples actually needed slight sight adjustments (front sight visibly off center), the rest was learning the trigger.

I do not feel much difference between 1.0 and 2.0 triggers and even the 1.0's could be vastly different . I have felt more difference between several 2.0 I was looking to take home jut like earlier model and better feeling than 2 others in the store , I have a few hundred rounds fired and a couple hundred more before I change to the apex striker block kit parts . Mine has a thumb safety and I am looking to get back to 4lb pull or a fuzz less with the normal FFS upgrades and some polishing .
