m&p 10 gas tube

putting some new parts on my m&p-10 this weekend and all is done EXCEPT FOR THIS D** GAS TUBE ROLL PIN what a headache getting this thing out short of a stick of dynamite it is impossible but I am still trying to get it out any suggestions thanks

Are you using a roll pin punch? Heat will help.

Just swapped out the gas block on mine and the roll pin came out without too much trouble. I guess I got lucky. I didn't even use a roll pin punch, just a regular punch and a ball peen hammer and it was out in no time. Now, getting the new roll pin installed in the new low profile gas block... that was an adventure.
