Oh yea! this has been asked for many times...

Please S&W!, do not make the M&P chambered in the robust 10mm cartridge which would be the perfect ballistic package and platform.

Don't do this, it will wind up costing me yet more money, as I would need to add this to my shooting S&W pistol collection.

No! No! Not the M&P10mm! I might break my arm or get hurt trying to pull out my wallet out, as fast as a double tap shot response, to place an order, should S&W put the M&P10mm out there.

I can't take it any longer, just thinking about the possibilities if S&W were to produce the M&P in this cursed 10mm cartridge...so feared and misunderstood by so many! It is too powerful by some, too weak by others, yet those who actually know this cartridge's performance capabilities, it versitility and many uses still love all it has to offer! I'm still mad at S&W for not taking the cartridge seriously by offering in their newest M&P pistol!

In closing we beg S&W not to venture into this arena of 10mm chambered M&P pistols because they will probably sell faster than you could put them out and cause mass hysteria in the shooting community!

Add 38 super and 9x23 to a 10mm the size of a 45 compact.

I have a 1066 and it's a terrific pistol but a tad heavy for ccw

I am a new member and would love to have an MP 10mm. I bought a MP 40 Pro last year and love it. If SW would make a 5" 10mm that could shoot heavy lead bullets and offer an accessory 40SW barrel for cheap practice I would buy the package. A 10mm seems to be the perfect woods carry, hog, deer, bear, meth-head gun. 200gr hard cast lead bullets sound like the way to go .Have read up on the Glock 20 and get all fired up to buy one until I walk into the store and pick up the Austrian brick. The Glock barrel can't be fed lead so for my use 2 additional barrels would have to be purchased. The other 10mm auto is a $1300 Dan Wesson which is way out of my budget.

There are a few other 10mm alternatives, one of which I picked up used for $359 at a LGS recently. It's the EAA Witness, a gun I like enough to own four of, dating back to 1990, when I bought the first CZ-pattern 40 I ever saw. I gave that one to my son this month for his 20th Birthday, and after 47,000 rounds, it's still a heckuva shooter. The 10mm version is on top in the photo below, all I've done so far is put in a 22-lb spring and shoot the heck out of it. What it does to steel plates has to be seen to be appreciated. I like it.
