Recieved my loader today. Very fast service after placing the order.

I am having trouble with it though. The brass tube is not in line with the magazine follower. When using, the shell hits the feed lip on the right hand side of the magazine (if viewing from the rear of the mag). The instructions state that some adjustment might be neccesary to align the cartridges perfectly with the magazine slot.
It states that information on how to make these adjustment is on the website, but I have not been able to find anything on the site.
Any help out there?

to adjust the load tip,, remove the cap with the tube inserted into position and slightly push with your thumb on the side of the tube to move the tip to help steer the bullet away from the side that is clipping the magazine lip..
it shouldn't take much to get it to work perfectly,,
I hand test each and every one before packaging but it seems they still may need adjusted due to slight differences in magazine manufacturing tolerances is my guess.

also here is a early beta tester video that shows how to adjust the tube,, it on a beta aluminum tube but it shows how to bend the tip if necessary .\
beta tester instruction video

hope that helps, if not feel free to contact me at [email protected] for further assistance!!!

I tried to make adjustments but am still having trouble with shells hanging up as it exits the tube.
I am going to do some shooting tomorrow and will experiment more, to see if it is something I am doing wrong or whether further adjustments are needed.
Thanks for the advice

Loading tray capacity?

Hey guys, I've been using the skunkwirkz loader for about 6 weeks now.

It shipped very quick but the first loader tube was bent in the mail. Chris was quick to replace it. Thanks!

I have had to adjust the fed lips on my tube slightly as well so that they do not hit the magazine lips.

The loader has been great and saved me a lot of time.

The only shortcoming I have found is the limited capacity of the tray (about 30-35 rounds) requires you to drop your magazine, loader, etc and fiddle with loading more in the tray, to process your next magazine.

I currently have 7 magazines so I like to load them all at once.

I designed and built the attached tray, which is approximately 20 inches long (2 1/2 of the original trays) (I could make them any length), so with dual slots as shown will easily hold 4 magazines worth of ammunition.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

i do love the double barrel look!!!
and always love to see any mods that people come up with!

That's awesome factionfx, the double 'barrel' idea is great. Just watch for splinters when sliding those rounds along :D

Skunk's KISS design has been working flawlessly for me, over hundreds of reloads. It's so simple and fun to use, even loads the drum mags super fast.

Still using mine as well, I am very pleased with it. The double slot tray idea is a good one!

Upload a video of you loading the mags with it!
