M&P 15-22 TROUBLES

I recently purchased an M&P 15-22. I had to send it back due to be fixed the first time, and got it back this week. I went to shot it at the range yesterday and had the the same thing happen again. It's almost like the extractor falls off. So it wouldn't eject the spent brass. I've shot about 100 rounds through it and it has broke twice in the same way. I was shotting Winchester Expert HV ammo through it. Has anyone had this problem?

I had to send mine back but it was fixed just fine.
Has worked great since then.

SW is really good NORMALLY to fix things up.
I would be all up in there stuff about it.

The extractor seems to be a very weak link in this carbine. Mine arrived in the S&W Shop this afternoon. Shed the extractor last week.

Scary to hear the extractor went missing after S&W just replaced it. Did you get two free mags with the first return from S&W?

mine was back on Monday (missing ejector)
today i put 250 rounds through (bulk federal) without any problems
ill try to go back on Monday to empty the federal box that i started this morning

I've had the same extractor failure. Sent mine back too.

Does anyone know if S&W is actually fixing the problem with a design change or are they simply rebuilding each returned rifle to the same specifications? Getting a couple of free magazines is great but I'll get tired of that real quick if I have to send it back every other time I shoot it.

i was one of the first, if not the first that i can remember to send theres back here on the forums. I got mine Sept 4th, sent it back on the 8th. Got it back in October. Over 500rds since, beeen nothing but fun.

When I called S&W the guy on the phone seemed to be surprised that the extractor broke again. I'm hoping that this time it will be fixed for good. I am encouraged that most people say that their 15-22 works great now. And yea i did get an extra magazine when I sent it back the first time. Maybe I'll get another free mag this time!

got 300 rounds through it today after 550 rounds i had 2 failure to feed
that is really good with federal bulk and this is the only ammo ill use from now on
