1st range session with my new Sport, also brought along its little brother the awesome 15-22. Fired 150 rds of Federal 55gr 223. What an awesome rifle! Very accurate with iron sights. Standing with brace against a pole I was dead on against milk jugs at 100 yds. Standing with no brace 50 yds and in, very accurate with rapid fire. I really love this gun so far.Probably put a small red dot on it ( Bushnell TRS25 ) Need to get a !@#$load of bulk before next session. Really fun to shoot! As usual my 15-22 performed flawlessly with Federal bulk 36gr. Really easy to transition from one rifle to the other! I'll post again when I put more and different ammo-both 223 and 5.56 thru the sport. Next time I'll post some groupings as well, they were pretty tight as it was just fooling around this time, I'll get more serious next time. It's hard to get serious when you're having so much fun!

Buy 2,000 rounds at a time, it costs a bit less and sometimes the shipping rate gets cut for the bulk purchase. Good stuff, the rifle is great right out of the box.

Took my new M&P15T to the range yesterday for the first time, and saw similar results. standing unsupported at 50 yds (indoor range) resulted in nice tight groups. on a bench rest, slow deliberate fire, punched the center out of the target. A blast to shoot. aimpoint will arrive tomorrow, looking forward to trying it out soon!

Im glad someone posted about this rifle a local dealer is running a special on them at 579.99 which is a superb price.

+1 on the range reports. Thanks for posting gentlemen. I've had similar results with my Sport. What a great rifle!

$579.99 is 20 bucks cheaper than I paid and I thought I got a bargain. The Sports will be flying off the shelves.

Unfortunately the only ones left here are all marked a $649.00 and they won't come down a penny....Heartened to see everybody likes them and they work well. Spad

Prices vary. I saw a new Sport at a gun show today with the new MBUS rear sight. It was marked at 579. That's 20 bucks cheaper than I paid for mine. I likely would have paid 650 if they been priced at that when I bought mine. I still think it's a good deal.
