After much debating back and forth between various makers and what I wanted in an AR, I just ordered the VTAC II. I will probably add the bushnell 1-4x 24mm throw down pcl optic to it since I can get it for a good price through my gun club. I am also going to add an ambi mag release since I am right hand, left eye dominate. So I end up shooting rifles and shotguns left handed. It should be here Wednesday. The other contenders were the Sig Sauer, Rock River and Daniel Defense. I went with the S&W because it had almost all things on my wish list. I plan on having fun with it and maybe using it for 3 gun competitions.

I am LH. You will probably want to add an ambi fire selector switch and an ambi charging handle as well.
The husband is already talking about an ambi fire selector switch/safety switch, though I have no issues using it on my 15-22 or the daughter's full sized AR. How is the charging handle not ambi? I am confused by this. I will have to investigate more.
