I've put about 400 rounds through my 2.0 40 Compact and there is now no discernable trigger reset. Nothing audible or tactile. Is this normal? Gun is completely stock.

Don't have any experience with the 2.0s, but...

The really BIG question would seem to be whether the trigger is actually resetting?

I'm confident those more knowledgeable will reply regarding the tactile and/or audible part of your post.

Cheers!

Some people think it's not loud enough or can't feel it hard enough while others I could care less so long as its reliable . I can feel the reset and hear the click if pay close attention with the 4 M&Ps old and new that we have but I sure don't worry about it with many thousands or rounds fired down range .

Since my wife and I don't target shoot or slow fire with our m&p's we never hear or feel the reset when practicing .

After ALL the years (decades) I've been shooting, it's NEVER been one of those things I worry about or depend on. Military, you get what you get for a weapon, so that has never applied to my shooting skills. It's what my finger tells me not my ears. It's my repetitive skills and life long established habits. ...but then again, paper never shot back.
