M&P 2.0 45acp with Night Sights Restricted to LE Only... Why?

I'm looking at the M&P 2.0 in 45. I want night sights. The only model available is restricted to Law Enforcement.

I understand the Blue Label type programs for Law Enforcement, and I think those are a great idea. Is the restriction of the M&P 45 with night sights because its offered at a lower MSRP for LE?

Of course I know I can have night sights installed later, I just would like to skip that step if possible.

Hmmm, sku 11520 is the full size M2.0 .45 with night sights and 3 magazines for Law Enforcement. I believe its restricted to LE for pricing and sold only as that package. As more models of the 2.0s are released they'll start adding night sights from the factory. However you can usually get night sights worked in as a deal from a dealer at the time of sale. I did that with a Glock 19. Cost me about the same.

I bought the 2.0 9mm LE package with the third magazine and night sights. It wasn't blue' priced for me....but not restricted to LE only. Can't imagine why a 45 would be any different.

Oops!! Dragging out and shooting different pistols today..the 2.0 LE package only included the third magazine. NOT night sights.
