M&P 2.0 compact 3.6 inch.

curious...
Is the grip length any different between the original compact and the 2.0 compact?

Yes. 2.0 compact is Glock 19 size grip. 1.0 almost 26 size grip.

I dont understand why the 3.6 . I have the 4 inch 9mm and its perfect for me. Im worried there going to stop making the 4 inch, so i just ordered one in 40. Perfect sized pistol and love it.

Congratulations! I sure did want a 3.6" model, but everywhere I checked they didn't have them, and I decided to just go ahead and get the 4.0" Compact. I may yet get the 3.6" model someday, if they ever become available locally, but 0.4" isn't that big a difference to wait on. At least that's my excuse for buying one now!

The overall length of the 3.6" is actually 0.5" shorter than the 4" (6.8" vs 7.3")...it's the barrel that's 0.4" shorter. Still not much more of a difference, but I decided to get one anyway:)

The height of the M2.0 Compact 3.6″ is 5″ vs. 4.3″ for the original Compact when using the flush mount magazine. However, if you use the original Compact’s magazine with the grip extension, the height of the original Compact becomes approximately the same as that of the Compact 2.0 when measured from the front bottom edge of the original Compact’s grip extension. You can read more about it out here
