M&P 2.0 grip/concealed carry

M&P 2.0 Grip Sanding Solution

I did the following:

1. Field stripped weapon.

2. I used 600 grit sandpaper and very slowly gently and carefully dry sanded down the grip to still allow it to have its texture without the extra roughness. I used my SIG P365 as a comparison for texture during this process.

3. After I did that, I followed up with 1500 grit sandpaper and wet sanded it down.

4. Final step using dish soap and washcloth cleaned it up and dried it.

5. Re-assembled weapon and oiled it thoroughly

6. Used my in pants holster and carried it to test effectiveness. Weapon didn't catch or snag on any clothing. Grip texture still serves its intended purpose without discomfort to skin while conceal carrying. No catching on shirts or jackets.

Taking my time and paying close attention to detail, Whole sanding task took about 20 minutes from start to finish.
