Today I took my newish M&P 2.0 Compact out to the range.
This gun is about 6 months old. I have fired it about 300-400rds to date.
At the time I purchased it I also purchased six of the 23rd extended mags.
These have been stored fully loaded. I have used them on the prior range trips with no issues.
When I went to fire today one of the mags failed. I disassembled it trying to find the problem. I found it when the mag spring fell out in pieces.
So I started using a different 23rd mag and lo and behold it too failed with a busted spring. Since I only had those two mags the range session ended.
Returning home I checked the other four 23rd mags and one of them had a broken spring as well. Now I do not trust the other three.
I looked around the web for a little while but I couldn't source any replacement 23rd springs. The 17rd springs are available.
Any idea where I could find some?
