22 compact failure to eject and failure to feed problems
Bought a new M&P 22 compact and started with Federal bulk pack ammo. Had frequent failures to eject and failure to feed problems. Had to carry a wooden dowel rod to push the brass back out on at least 1 or 2 rounds out of every magazine.
Changed to Federal Automatch. In addition to being the grungiest ammo I've ever seen, had 20 out of 20 the first two magazines that I had to manually eject with the wooden dowel. Sent that garbage back to Federal and they refunded my money.
Next went to Remington Golden Bullet. Seemed like really dirty ammo when I opened the box, went through 100 rounds without a failure.
Next tried some Blazer 40 grain and after about 200 rounds, I've had 3 stove pipes and other than that not a single problem. Bought it on sale for 4 cents a round.
Through all of this I have shot some CCI mini mag and never had a single failure with this, but it is more expensive than I would like to shoot.
So, for the time being I will stay with the Blazer as long as I can buy it for that price. Or, I will continue with the Remington Golden Bullet although it is filthy ammo to handle.
