So, I was reading some threads on here from people saying that they emailed/called S&W CS and asked if they had 3-dot rear sight blade for the M&P 22 like they do on the bigger caliber models. For one, I think that the sight set up for the 22lr model is awful. I emailed S&W and am waiting for a reply. I was wondering if anyone else did this and what was the outcome?

I was just wanting to know the exact same thing. The terrible sights are no good for my old tired eyes. I tried painting mine with day glow nail polish but the front dot is too small, and with no rear dots I'm all over the target. I was wondering if sights made for the 9mm M&P like Big Dot night sights would fit the 22, does anyone know if they are the same size?

All the m&p rear sight will fit. On the front sight I'm not sure about. I got a a set of m&p .45 sights and the back one was a perfect fit. The front sight will not work due do the set screw on the 45 come in from the bottom and not the top like the 22 does.

Yeah, I have heard that too. I am hoping for S&W to jest send me some free ones because 3-dot is a personal preference from me. Thanks for the input!

Excellent idea! I had not thought of using flourescent fishing lure paint on the sights. It really ups the visibility. Thanks for the tip!

Why should they send you sights for free? Seems that personal preference should something you're willing to pay for. .... Just saying.

Additionally, any good gunsmith should be able to do an orange insert/dots.
