I am HAPPY to report the bar-dot sights work well for me. I'm going to go ahead and do some prep work and paint the bar down the whole rear sigh blade. Now I know how to properly adjust the rear sight, LOL, the M&P22 was shooting spot on today. Previously it was shooting waaay high and I started adjusting the sights...in the wrong direction.
So on first day I had to move rear sight to the right slightly cause shot groups were landing a few inches left of center. And had to lower the rear height cause shots were printing high.
No failures or stoppages of any sort. Think there is only like 500-600 rounds so far. I did have one round today that did feel underpowered. Still hit in the correct place but I heard it and felt it.
Anyway now I'm on to painting the rest of the rear sight blade. But for now here is a pic as it sits now. Only the rear insert has the bar painted on it without prepping the surface.
First pic is about at arms length away for a kinda true sight picture....maybe. LOL.
