M&P 22 Poor Man's Mag Loader DIY

Hey guys, I am new to shooting and to this forum. I just got my M&P 22 and have been trying to find an inexpensive mag loading solution. After a week of searching, these are the two that worked with this handgun. They say for other mags but they will work with most button mags. I tried both. On the first one just measure the width of the mag, I just layed mine on its side and made two marks. The second one was the easiest and worked the best for me. I just went to home depot and got a smaller clamp than the one shown. Of course these are only for us cheapskates. These are cheap and are easily replaceable.

No offense, but it seems like a solution to a non-existent problem. I don't know, maybe its just me or maybe I'm just too much old school, but I can have my mag loaded using my thumb to pull the follower down in the time you're attaching the clamp to your magazine. But then again I load Greasegun and STEN mags without a loader too!

I generally pull the follower down with each round I insert to avoid the issue where the cartridge goes vertical in the mag. I find it easier that way since I can use some of the force from inserting the round to push it down.

No offense taken, the mags are easy to load by hand, but it does help when your going thru one or two boxes of bulk ammo, thats about 43 mag loads per box. I'm getting old and anything to make life easier is good for me. Less than that, easy to load by hand. Just an alternative for us frugal ones, not willing to pay $17 for a Brass stacker or about $29 for a baby uplula.

Huh ?? I am a 62 yr old woman and have NOoooo problems fast loading. Just press the lil' button down on the side of the mag and drop the ammo right in.

I've never found a .22 that it doesn't work on. As for the question about where I got it, I see these at gun shows all the time.

Grab a small piece if metal or plastic. Drill three holes, run a file to elongate them to form a rectangle a little larger than your magazine. About five minutes work.
