Greatest little .22 for the price. I love mine, compliments my M&P9. I added a optic and can't wait for winter to mellow out so I can get out and shoot. Here is my gun.

Does somebody know something I haven't heard? Immensely popular from what I can decipher. New model coming maybe, or is this particular LGS just dumping some inventory?

I think he's referring to the fact that S&W and Ruger refused to buckle to California's requirement to put individual identifying marks on handgun firing pins. So, CA is dropping all S&W and Ruger handguns from the state's list of guns a resident may purchase. I believe the LGS would not be able to sell the M&Ps after the current list expires- so he's selling them now for what he can.

Of course, the CA firing pin legislation does not apply to LE or military handguns, just affects the regular citizen's ability to purchase a new handgun.

Bought the Ruger 22LR revolver with Crimson Trace laser for the wife (carry) but loved the feel & weight of the M&P so much that I picked one up. Now that I have put a bunch of rounds down range with it, I feel it is one of the best all-round pistols I have owned. Glad I stocked up on multiple 'bricks' of ammo before the shortage!
