Hey everyone, I just picked up my M&P 3.6 at my LGS this morning. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a good holster for it? I'm having trouble finding one for it. I've checked Alien Gear and Raw Dog and neither make a holster for the 3.6. I wasn't sure if I should just get the 4.25 M&P Holster from Alien Gear and just get the new shells when they become available.

Vedder holsters lists models for the 3.6. I use IWB for my Shield. This is where my "box of holsters" ended.

Same here. I have a box of holsters but they're all Vedder Holsters.

I got a Lighttuck IWB Vedder for mine. Nate at UBG is making an OWB Regulator for me. He says it's for the 1.0, but that it will fit. I'll report back on that. I also got a Cook's kydex trigger guard holster for it. Great gun.

My concealment express IWB fits perfect. They make one for both the 3.6 and 4" 2.0 compacts They also make a 1.0 version so be careful to make sure which you order.

Concealment express also makes an open bottom OWB that will fit all m&p models!

I also have concealment express for my shield. Love them both. Only wish wpuld be if they made some sort of thin felt pad for where it rests against they body that could be removed and washed. Then the holsters would be perfect.

Flyingfool, Amazon sells adhesive backed neoprene that might solve your problem. 1/8" or thicker.

JM Custom Kydex makes several for the 4" compact which also fits the 3.6. Especially if you will be carrying with a light or have the thumb safety model.

Vedder holsters does not have an OWB holster for the 3.6 2.0!
They sent me an email today own this today.
Said it would be 2 or 3 months at best.

I bought one from Jmcustomkydex.com
OWB 10 degree cant, with full guard for no safety mp 2.0 3.6. I am very pleased with it. Cost 85 dollars, shipping included. Took 1 month to get. I selected the non safety version but the holster he made for me accepts my safety switch which I plan on replacing with the plugs I already have.

Pics included hope it helps you.

Funny, I asked them about this today! I hope they get a Lightdraw for the 3.6.

How did you decide on cant and whether to have a sweat guard?

I chose cant of 10 degrees since I wear at 3pm position. For me it is about keeping my trigger finger high above trigger when I grip and pull pistol out of holster. In other words, it's a decision based on which position I will be drawing the pistol from. For instance would you want a 0 cant if you draw from a 5 PM position? Ask yourself, at what angle and position of my trigger finger does it want to naturally go when I pull the pistol from different locations. It's all preference of the person. Also it could help hide the end of the grip better.

IMO, all this helps me train on pulling my pistol out of the holster safety. Since I got the holster I have been to the range 3 times training pistol draw from holster. I am a Noob. I am slow on my pistol draws. I consciously think about my trigger finger position (is it high on the kydex? is it high on the frame away from trigger?) and monitor the pressure of my trigger finger on the kydex as im pulling out of holster. Then the trigger finger transfers to the top of the frame above trigger. Consciously I don't apply much pressure to the kydex with my trigger finger. Because of the fear It could slip off into trigger. This is just my Opinion, I could be totally wrong and I still need more draw training.

The full sweat guard option can always be trimmed down if you dont like. On his website he stated he will trim down the sweet guard for free( possible shipping charges)
