M&P .40 clip releasing on it's own

2nd time shooting this.40 and the magazine came out(not all the way, just about 1/4") 4 separate times this time. Never happened before. Anyone else had this problem?

I've read several other posts from people having the same issue. I think most of them contacted S&W.

PS Mag or clip doesn't really matter. This is just a forum, not an academic or scientific environment. Also, some people will probably disagree with what I just said

Thanks jajo. Yeah, just found a thread on this. I will contact s&w tomorrow. I figured I might get tore up over the clip instead of magazine.

I would pay attention to your hand position, most likely you are inadvertently applying pressure to the mag release button.

Without mentioning your clip problem have someone else shoot your gun. It should rule out human error if the clip (I kind of like clip over magazine) pops out.
