M&P 40 sight upgrades

Just grabbed a .40 and the factory sights are decent but I am looking to upgrade. I have some Trijicon, XS and a set Meprolights on other guns and they are all decent sights. I shot a friends G with fiber optic sights and at the range they were great until the sun hid behind some clouds.

I saw that there are a few positive remarks about the Trueglo TFO's and have read quite a few negatives about them elseware. They appear to be the best of both worlds, if they don't fall apart......

I guess my question is what is the favorite sight upgrade here at the S&W?

I upgraded with Dawson Adjustable rears and a black serrated front sight. However, if you want night sights Dawson also has Adjustable Night sights which includes the front sight.

After trying Trijicons, XS Big Dots and a couple of different combinations of Ameriglos, I am sold on the Ameriglo ProGlo orange w/ green tritium front paired with their Pro Operator yellow tritium rear...

Ameriglo also offers great customer service and you can use the coupon code 'DEFOOR' if you purchase direct from their website for a 23% discount, IIRC...

Interestingly enough I noticed also that Trijicon just announced a very similar setup: Trijicon HD Night Sights

+1 on this combo. I have the same setup on my G19 and love it. I will be getting the same for my M&P40c.

I have Dawson Precision plain adjustable rear with FO front. The front has a .100 inch width and .285 height on a 9mm Pro. I use it for USPA production.

I have the 24/7 Big Dot Night sights on my M&P .40C and they are pretty good. My Glocks run Trijicon NS are better.
