M&P 40c

I am thinking of selling my M&P 40c, this was a police trade I bought from Buds. Night sites were on it and still shine bright.
I want to sell this as a package of M&P 40C gen1, 4 10 round mags, Milt Sparks VMII IWB Holster. if I can't get $700.00 for the package I would keep it.
Give me your thoughts please fair deal or not?

You want $700 for a police trade in M&P 40C (a gen 1) that you probably bought it for $300 tops, with some extra magazines and holster? In 2021? When gun panic buying is calming down? You gonna offer the seller some Vaseline also with the sale too? TOO MUCH!

That is several hundred dollars high in normal times.

As to a post pandemic panic price, it may sell for that. However I think we are already on the down side of the panic buying curve

What's the condition? How many rounds? How much holster wear? What year of manufacture? What's the condition of the holster?

Best bet is to list on Gunbroker with reserve.

I don't remember what I paid for this one, it appeared to have never been shot when I bought it, it now has around 1500 rounds down the pipe.
This I got from true gun value,

The demand of new S&W 40C pistol's has risen 8 units over the past 12 months. The demand of used S&W 40C pistol's has risen 8 units over the past 12 months.

It looks like with a 100 dollars for the holster and 50 for the 2 extra mags maybe getting $600.00 would be a stretch..
Looks like I will be keeping it.

We here may know what it is really worth. There are still panic buyers out there. Advertise the package for $800 let someone talk you down to the $700 you want. What have you got to loose but a few minutes banging on the keyboard. If it does sell you will have gotten what you wanted and the buyer will feel like he got a deal. Everybody wins.

For what it's worth, I just bought a brand new first generation M&P40C still in the box about three months ago for $575 on Gunbroker. Now's just not a great time to be selling .40 S&W pistols, since there's very little demand for them, but some of us still like them. It's all about finding the right person who's willing to pay your price for what all you have for it. For example, I also bought a brand new first generation M&P40 Pro Series 5" still in the box for $720 around the same time, so they do still sell, obviously. Best of luck to you.

Prices are starting to fall after a year of inflated prices
Ruger P95 was $280 used
9EZ & 380EZ where $369

Are you throwing in any of that .40 ammo in the deal? Ammo still hasn't come back in stock around here. If you're advertising it locally, adding ammo would spark more interest. If you're selling on here, the extra cost of shipping the ammo may not be practical.
