M&P 40Pro Wait......

Is anybody else having a long wait for their 40 pro series in 5"? I ordered one almost 3 months ago and no word yet.

I had been toying with getting on the last month or so and just happened to log on to grabagun last Fri before going to work and showed one in tock so I bought and just picked it up from my FFl yesterday. I got a email from them later that day sying they were back in stock but sold out agin by Tue.
Hoping to shoot it tomorrow.

I ordered a 5 inch 9 pro in May....S&W told Atlantic Tactical it would be available in March 2013. Just checked on it this week and it was still same ETA.

I got the same message from most dealers. Called a NJ Dealer near my home and got the M&P 40 pro in three days. They said they had another. Not sure if they still have it but you can try Shore Shot NJ (732) 905-6888. Talk to Kyle. The thing is a tack driver right out of the box. BTW not affiliated with them in any way. I'm guessing they are filling in all the Police Department orders first. Three local departments, mine included, just switched to these exact pistols. They are awesome, the trigger is great, and they are tack-drivers. I hope you don't have to wait that long, but I am sure you will be impressed when you finally get it. The only downfall I have noticed, is a lack of holster options for the 5". All the Detectives and Admin use the Blackhawk Serpa and the barrel/slide stick out of the bottom by .5"

I've been waiting for a non-pro 40 (SKU 209300) from my preferred on-line retailer for two months now. They don't know when they'll be getting them in.

Check GunBroker.co, I just purchased a new .40 Pro 5" from a dealer located in ID. But your local shop waiting list is typical across the country, I was quoted 3-5 months from my local FFL and a few other online dealers.

Thankfully I stumbled across this one and snapped it up for the "Buy Now" price of $569 ($604 shipped to me in SC).
