Hi guys, I'm looking for an M&P 45 without any safeties or lawyer junk with the standard length barrel. I believe the number is 109306. The only problem is that I can't find them anywhere. Buds, Davidsons, you name it, are all sold out.

Does anyone know of a place online I can pick one up new?

PM me next week if you are in a "ready to buy" mode. I don't usually start finding pistols for customers who aren't ready to put half down and the balance at ship time. We don't have much trouble finding just about anything for most of our departments and officers.

Thanks for the reply. I'm in the ready to buy mode right now.

What do you mean by "lawyer junk"?

A 45 with a mag disconnect is what some call "lawyer junk".
The warning on the side that says the gun will shoot without a mag could be "lawyer junk".

So, as I see it, one can't be had without some kind of lawyer junk.

I don't mind the warning. It's annoying, but it does't change the way the gun functions.

By "lawyer junk," I was referring to the magazine disconnect and unnecessary thumb safety.

Not sure why pistols still have a magazine disconnect. Do any states require them?

CA requires it on all newly designed guns. Guns that were already approved don't have to have it, but new designs must include it. You can remove it after you buy the gun.

It's the only way to get an M&P without the warning on the slide. It's easy to remove and you can get the factory spring so it will be just as S&W makes them.

I'm new on here because this is exactly what I just traded my 1911 GI for. I snagged the 109306 model. I have to say I love it and I'm a fan and what sweetened the deal was the already installed trijicon sights. Happy hunting.

Have you tried Clyde Armory near Athens, GA?

I actually found one at a local pawn shop. It looks brand new. The only problem is they want $550 for it. I think that's a little high as a new one usually goes for that price. If they would come down to $500, I might grab it up. Any thoughts?

Yes, $550 is a tad high for a used one. But, as we've already said, the .45 is less prolific. It depends on how bad you want it and how long you're willing to wait.

I paid $550 for mine, new.

Yeah. Make them an offer.

I bought it today and talked them down to $525. This thing is in pristine condition. I almist thought it was new when I originally saw it. According to the date stamp on the shell casing envelope, it was made in April of this year.

I feel like I still paid a little too much for it, but considering the one I was watching on Gunbroker ended at $450 with only one mag and $25 shipping, I didn't do so bad at $525.

Not bad, really. Not when you got what you want and don't have to wait for it to ship to your door (and hope that all is ok).

You didn't pay WAY over price for a used one and you got to inspect it before buying. Getting an extra mag is a plus too. Give us a range report when you can, oh and congrats! :)

$450 is nice however + $25 shipping = $475 + transfer (in my area $40) + $10 background check. TOTAL $525

Yeah, I figured $450 + $25 shipping = $475. Plus transfer fee $25 and another mag ($25) since it only would have included one. So that brings me to $525.

A local shop could have ordered a new one for $550, but there was no telling when it would have arrived.

The original sales receipt was in the box as well. The guy paid $580 for it new and traded a Glock 19. They gave him $300 on the Glock.
