When I was a hostage in the Soviet socialist Republic of California I had my M&P 45 go boom. The Dog would not let S&W replace it with the current model as it was unapproved. Yesterday I experienced California in the rear view mirror for the last time. I can now replace that puppy.

FWIW... The M&P 45 is my favorite handgun. I own four of them in various sizes/configurations.
