My son ordered the 9mm barrel back in November. I got the M&P 40 range kit and 3 9mm mags for Christmas, the barrel just showed up yesterday.

Thanks for the tip. I picked up my new M&P40 this morning. I actually ordered a M&P9 but when I went to pick it up at the LGS they had made a mistake and only had a M&P40 available. To make up for their mistake they offered to discount the M&P40 an additional $40 off and throw in 2 boxes of 40cal ammo for free. I jumped at the deal!!! Now this deal on a 9mm barrel will be like getting two guns for the price of one !!! Thanks again !!!

Received a message from Midway this evening and the 9MM barrel has been shipped!!!! Ordered 3 mags on another web site but they are back ordered. Went in to day and picked up 150 rnds of 44 mag ammo and a 40FS mag. Bottom line, things are starting to move, maybe the panic is slowing down...

I was in Cabela's Kansas City today.
They had no M&P pistol magazines.

MidwayUSA shipped my FS 9 barrel today also

Let me know if you find one, I'm in KC too. Was just at Cabelas on Tuesday to pick an in store order (9mm ammo) but didn't think to look for magazines.

Anyways, got mine today. Got to love living pretty close to MidwayUSA. Ordered Tuesday got it Thursday.

9mm didn't feed very good at all through the .40 mags. Still looking for 9mm mags. Haven't been to the range with it yet but plan on putting a few rounds through it soon.

The link in question describes the product as having a twist rate of 1:18.75."

The new barrel with the 1:10 twist is apparently more desirable and more accurate, if that matters to anyone.
