M&P 9 vs M&P C.O.R.E. FRAMES

Is the frame for the standard M&P 9 the same frame as the M&P C.O.R.E. 5" ? In other words could I take the slide off a 5" M&P CORE and put in on a standard M&P full size frame? Both pistols are less than a year old. I want to know because I have an M&P with a trigger job and want to put my 5" CORE slide on it. Thanks.

yes the frame is the same. I did the same thing. First I has a standard M&P 9mm with Apex FSS kit. Then I bought a CORE .40 All I did was buy another Apex striker block and put that slide on my 9mm frame.


oh and use .40 mags when I shoot .40.

I also bought a storm lake 9mm conversion barrel so I can shoot 9mm through the CORE
