When I dinged mine up a few years ago I called S&W customer service wanting to buy one. The guy on the phone said it was covered under warranty and sent me one FREE!

Might try giving them a call.

This is correct! they will send you a replacement, they sent me a free one as well as pinky extensions free.

Yeah but smith is having some major shortages on parts. Aaron with A2 strippling is having stock issues because of them

Some yes.... but I received a new frame tool and extensions on Friday, so I'm not sure these parts are part of the shortage- now I have been told mags are 4+ months away
