I have a M&P 9C and I am looking for the best IWB holster. I am a big guy and it is hard to find a good hoster for CC carry.

Most of my herd rides in a Kramer #3 (kramerleather.com) or a Milt Sparks VM-2. The VM-2 is not a cheap holster nor is the Kramer, but I have yet to be disappointed in what I get in return for my money. Comfort and quality are incredible. Might work for you as well.

Smith & Wesson sells holsters on their site, and their prices are competetive. I looks like they are Galco brand with the S&W stamp on them. A three slot open top or thumb break would be more versatile, for either strong side or cross draw wear. Works for me...

I am a biggin 345 lb but short 5 -8,.GALCO TRITON .Works for my cc I carry it at 5:00 clock.:D

my boss is 450lbs and 6'3".
I told him about my Crossbreed Supertuck and he just looked down at me and laughed and said, "Looks at me, do you see a waist!?"

Long story short.. he says he swears by the shoulder holster.
I asked him how often he carry's and he said, "when I am outside".
He's a big man, of few words.... but it speaks books.

Good luck with your serach...

I have a Milt Sparks Summer Special and a MTAC for when I have to carry IWB. I really prefer OWB this time of year.

I am also using the Galco Triton. I have only had the pistol a few days, but so far the holster is very secure and suprisingly comfortable. Not what I expected for a Kydex type product.

If you get a pistol with the safety you may have to re-mold the kydex slightly in the safety area. I had to.

Being a "person of size" myself, the Comp-Tac MTAC works best for me of everything I've tried. I've been carrying my M&P40c in it since I got it in January and it's been great.

UBG makes a holster that is very comfortable and one you can wear all day long
Also offers a stiffer holster for those who have to keep a tighter belt
It's worth lookin into .

I've been using the Crossbreed Supertuck and even carrying all day, don't know it's there. Comfortable, secure, adjustable. As the ad says, "it's the ugliest holster you'll love to wear."

I have an M&P 9C and bought a Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC Holster yesterday for it. Wore it concealed in the afternoon and last night. Extremely comfortable at 3:30 - 4:00 position. Uncomfortable while driving with the gun in the holster at that position, but the empty holster was not a bother while driving. It's adjustable, so I'll have to try other positions to see how they feel, such as crossdraw, etc. So far, I'm very pleased with the purchase. I also have a blackhawk paddle/belt holster as well as a couple cheap nylon holsters. I'm certain I'll wear the MTAC more than any other holster I have. It's that comfortable against the skin. The weight of the gun is distributed better by the design of the holster. It's easy to put on and take off as well. I highly recommend.

I have two holsters for the MnP9c. Like others have already mentioned, the Comp Tac Minotaur, which works very well. I also have a Galco Triton that is great for short errands. I would recommend both.

I found this thread on Google while looking for a new holster (softcase if possible)

I used a IWB holster (Custom) it's a hybrid Kydex/Leather holster ( the kydex is a carbon fiber pattern) I am also doing a Digital Desert camo pattern one (lots of options out there)

So far so good wearing it (and it doesn't cost as much as a Crossbreed or take as much time to get them sent in the mail) Feel free to ask questions
