M&P 9C IWB Holster Need Help

I am glad to say I didn't pay $80+ for a holster when mine does the same thing, but hey whatever works

I can't say enough good things about Side Guard holsters. Srigs (who is a member on this forum) does an incredible job. I have a Side Guard holster for all of my carry guns at this point, including one for the 9c. There's a website, Google for it, it will come right up.

I am in no way related to Remora or Sticky holster companies but like their products.

No clips, restraining straps, or anything but the bare holster. They are thin, flexable, light weight, and stay where I put them including cant angle. They can be used for pocket carry or IWB and come in multiple sizes.

They are quite inexpensive!
I have both brands and consider them equal.
They may not be for everyone, but check them out!

+1 for Remora. Very comfortable and very little movement with the sticky surface holding my 9C. Only minor issue is using the bathroom on occasion. You have to make sure you have a safe place to put your firearm while doing your business. ;-)

Update: I called Don Hume and they said their holsters are backordered 4 months.

I emailed Mika and he emailed back immediately. He was quick to respond to several emails, and in fact he called me once but I was unavailable.

After studying the Don Hume H715-M W.C I see it doesn't have anything between my skin and the slide. I also see the clip rides very low and a lot of the gun is above the belt.

I called Mika back and asked about his holster. Can he make me an offset clip? Yes. Can he make me a slide shield? Well his IWB covers the slide, but if I want something different he can do it. He said he could make me a purple polka dot holster if I would like... :D
He sets his clip so the belt rides just under the butt of the gun more or less. That's how I would like it. He asked about tension if I had a preference, what I do, how I carry etc. He customizes each holster to the person, the gun and the use.

Mika is an easy guy to talk to. And his holsters are not expensive, in fact they're pretty reasonable considering the care he puts into them. So I told him I'd try one of his IWB clip holsters for my M&P 9c, in any color he would like as I don't care, it goes in my pants!

He said okay I'll send one out, and when you get it if you like it just drop a check in the mail.

In a world where guys pay for holsters 2 years before they see them and then sometimes never even get their holster, who is this holster man who sends his product out and hopes it is good enough that you decide to pay for it?

I wonder if he does leather???

I got a great one which is well made, reasonablely priced, and comfortable from High Noon Holsters. I carry the Hidden Ally. I also have a DeSantis Sof-tuk, which I wear a lot.

Since I purchased my M&P9c when they first came out I have used an OWB Don Hume JIT.

At my biggest, I was 275:eek: at only 5'8".
Now, I am @ 200, but still use the JIT.

For an inexpensive holster, it holds the gun high and very close to the body.

I tried several IWB, and could not get comfortable with them. the JIT does it, and for about $25 bucks, it's not a gamble if it does not for you.

I have been carrying an M&P9c in a Taqua IWB for about a year now, it is comfortable and secure.

Exact same setup I use with my 9c. Comfortable as hell and was $25.00. Tagua makes some of the best stuff for the $$$$. Check them out.

I too really like the Remora. I've been using it to carry my M&P9C for several months and have them for several of my other guns.
