M&P 9C releasing magazine in holster?

Bought my M&P 9C about 6 months ago. Went through the wringer to get a carry license in NYC. Bought a White Hat Max Tuck IWB holster along with it.

I've had the magazine release several times (including righ tnow as I type this) in the holster. Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm thinking of shaving down the mag release button, as well as disconnecting the mag disconnect lever. I'd hate to actually need this thing and pull it out, only to watch the mag hit the floor.

Thoughts?

If it helps, it seems to be occurring more with the pinky extension mags than the flat bottom.

Can you modify the holster where it hits the release? Like maybe punch a hole?

i use a galco king tuck. no problems at all.

^^^ If the holster is hitting the mag release, don't modify the pistol, modify the holster.
