M&P 9L slide and barrel value?

What's the fair value of a used M&P 9L slide and barrel with approximately 500 rounds through it? No guide rod or spring, standard sights, and has an apex safety plunger. Negotiating a deal with a guy and I don't want to undervalue his stuff. He's asking $375. Thanks.

Seems pretty pricey. That entire gun can be had new, for $650.

I don't believe S&W sells those by themselves. I wonder how he got it. Maybe a kaboom?

Not sure what the story is, I figured maybe he just decided to get a standard length slide. The frames are the same aren't they? I offered him $300, and he he came back with a counter of $325, but I haven't made up my mind yet. I sold a plane-jane full size not too long ago for $400 locally thinking I'd just get a conversion barrel for my .40, but the long slide would be nice if I can get a good price on it.
