Hello...i assembled a m&p 2.0 5-inch slide using parts from a m&p 2.0 4.25 slide. Question? Since the 5-in slide has a longer sight radius. What is the correct front sight height for the 5" slide? The 4.25 slide brings a 1.60 front sight. Do i need to go 1.80 or lower than 1.60....for correct POA...asking those who have core or 5" 2.0......

i think my 5" m&p9 2.0 had .16, but when I bought hi viz sights they said it was supposed to be .18. i wonder if the taller sight is for optics ready or performance center?

i just measured both my 4" and 5" front sights that are already removed, and both had same heights. .16 blade and overall height was around .228

Well... I completely forgot I have a 9 mm laser... That fits in the chamber... at least it will give me an idea at what distance is point of aim...

i have both one of those self adjusting laser bore sights that magnetically attach to the muzzle, and an in-chamber laser bore sight. both of them the laser isn't 100% on the center axis. like if you rotated them, the dot would move a little.

so I had to figure out which orientation was most accurate for the laser dot. i did it by turning them 45 degrees at a time and seeing which angle matched the factory installed sights on at least 2 guns. turned out that for the magnetic laser sight, it was with the battery cover pointed slightly away from straight up, and the bore sight was with the logo pointed up.
