I'm having an issue with my new gun. I bought a new back strap to put on it but I cannot get the back strap release to come out (my fiancé could not get it either). Anybody know what I should do?

Rotate 90 degrees in either direction and you should be able to pull it out. If I recall, it was very tight on my wife's M&P 9c when it was new.

You are turning the frame tool a half turn first right?

One you get it out applying a little silicone will make it much easier next time.

As stated above, use silicone grease only. Any petroleum product will soften the plastic and make it worse. You do have to be careful not to break off the little "nubbin" on the tool.

I just about got a hernia the first time I tried to take it out... It's been easier since then.
