M&P 9mm full size new features

I'm getting ready to purchase a new M&P 9mm with 4.25" barrel. Have any started shipping with the new trigger I've read about that is supposed to be similar to the Shield? I thought I read somewhere that the barrels have a new twist rate now. Is that true? Anything else to know about? What serial number range would have the new features?

I just got a new one and the trigger does feel...... different. There's more of a click on trigger reset, but it's still a relatively mushy trigger pull. This is compared to my other, earlier M&Ps. Don't know about the rifling, and I haven't got a chance to shoot the new one yet.
