Yes, I am still using Fireclean after switching from CLP.
Use it in all of my M&P's.
I have had no issues with it and it seems to do a great job.
Anybody else still using it or willing to admit it?? :D

Got an AR I continue to use it on -- no apologies. That stuff works and the knuckleheads who bought into the "it's just Crisco" attack look foolish....

No, I'm no longer paying $10 an ounce for what is essentially vegetable oil.

I've purchased other proven products that work just as well for me for less cost.

YMMV, of course.

I have two bottles of Fireclean collecting dust. Didn't seem clean very well to me? Especially when the outside of the muzzle gets black after several rounds. FireClean removes absolutely nothing. I can take a white patch, soak it with FireClean, and scrub the outside of the muzzle, and the cloth is still white. Conversely, you take the same white cloth, and CLP, and the black residue is removed.

BTW if you want to return a parkerized RIA 1911 to new condition, clean the outside with ArmorAll auto detailer. Unbelievable. Not only does it clean 10 times better than FireClean (actually 10 x 0 still equals zero, so forget about that), but the parkerized finish looks new and keeps that look for a long time.;)

That's kinda weird. I've used FC and it seemed pretty effective at removing residue, for me.

I don't use it anymore; I did not like the stories about how it aged (no rust preventative, apparently) as well as the price ($10 a fluid oz.).

Recent stories of the makers of FC suing a popular internet blogger did not sit well with me either.

I use Slip 2000 EWL, at the moment.
