I've been bitten by the M&P bug. For the last few years I've been rotating between a Dan Wesson Valor Vbob, Glock 19, LCP, and a Shield9. For the last year or so the Shield has been going with me 90% of the time. It's just so easy to carry and has so much more firepower than the LCP.
So yesterday at the gun show I ran across a Shield 40 with talon grips, 5 mags ,and an apex trigger kit for $350. Couldn't turn it down. Then on the way home I stopped by Buds and picked up a Vermont State Police trade in M&P40 that looks nearly new for $329. I prefer 9mm but couldn't pass up either 40. As soon as I get some Gold Dots thru each of them for testing, the Shield will be my EDC. The wife has already claimed my Shield9 since I traded hers away.
I look forward to adding a few more M&Ps to the safe. I wish Smith and Wesson would introduce a 10mm M&P. I love my G20sf but could see myself switching.
