M&P CORE and Vortex Razor red dot

I don't know if Vortex Venom red dot will always generate a link to Opticsplanet but it did above. The Opticsplanet page has a picture of a CORE with a Venom mounted...

The delta point (original) is not available any more...well there may have been one on amazon that was $799....(ouch!) The delta point "pro" is what's available now. I called Delta point and talked to the rep and he is not recommending the "pro" at this time for the c.o.r.e. due to mounting issues. He did state they were working on a mount for the CORE with no ETA.

And I got an email from S&W stating that they were NEVER going to make an adapter for the new DP Pro. They actually sounded a bit miffed. I think Leopold delayed delivery until they could develop a new mount that wouldn't fit the CORE. It's their loss, I finally went with a Trigicon RM06.

Leupold is making the new mount, not S&W (read jp56's post again)

Yeah, especially the NO ETA part... that's code from Leopold for 'hold your breath'.

There used to be a Deltapoint 2 (got pictures!) and we all waited for that one to mount on the CORE. If they ever do make an adapter it will cost $55 (if you can find 'em).
