M&P decisions

Every time I shoot my M&P 9 it amazes me how well it shoots and handles. 9mm for SD.

I have a 40c that is my CC gun. I really like it, thinking about putting in an Apex trigger but not sure if that will keep it "suitable" for a CC weapon.

Search for M&P trigger job... About 10 minutes of polishing the stock parts makes the trigger fabulous.

Bud's Police pricing isn't the Nations Finest program - it's available to credentialed LEO, FF, EMS and a bunch else.
I know. I am a member. I looked up the guns and didnt see the price listed by the poster unless he was adding in the nations finest discount. He even said with the $50. Discount.

I wasn't a fan of the 40 until I shot a M&P 40c. To me, the recoil feels like a 9mm, where all the other 40s felt like, well, 40s.

You are correct. The $50 rebate appears to apply to the nations finest discounts.
At first read, I didn't realize they were different.
That would put the price at $399, which isn't bad either.

Apex kits are easy to install (just follow the Apex utube video) and will give you a nominal 5.5 lb trigger pull which is plenty good for CC. Additionally, the Apex kit will smooth out the inherent M&P scratchy trigger. The Apex Duty Equipment Carry Kit replaces: trigger spring, sear spring, striker block, and striker block spring. Depending on the date of manufacture of your pistol, you may also be able to install a Reset Action kit which significantly enhances felt trigger reset.
