m&P mags

So like most others on the forum I saw this coming. I stocked up on M&P 40 mags, Glock mags, AR, AK & .308 mags. I was literally getting around to getting 9mm M&P mags, the. newtown happened. Can't find them anywhere for a reasonable price. Does anyone have a source? Backorders?

Yes. I have a source. I get magazines for friends in need. I also have a source for ammo.

I placed an order with policehq (Streicher's Police Equipment) for my M&P 40 mags. They are of course on backorder, and they say possibly 6-12 months. The prices are good though, if you are willing to wait. I got mine for $24.99 (I think the 9mm is the same). They will not charge you card until they ship.
My LGS had them in stock when I was over there this past Sunday, so I bought 2 ($29 each).

I don't know of any other place that would have them (online anyway). I'd keep checking the local shops. You never knoow

I bought mine a month or so ago and can't seem to find any 17 round M&P 9mm mags anywhere without taking out a second mortgage.

I would be forever indebted to anyone who could help find some for under $60 a piece. Need at least 2 more for matches and one or two to keep loaded at the house.

Loading 17 rounds of 9mm is no easy task. I'm afraid of denting the casing on the last few rounds.

I will tell you that using one of the maglula UpLulas is a tremendoussssssss help and saves your thumbs.

I just cancelled my order with S&W for 2 shield mags. They've been on order since January and not listed as backlogged nor out of stock. I ordered 2 from Midwayusa two or three days ago and they have been shipped already,
