I am trying to find (again) the source for M & P/Model 10 Barrels (pinned) both 5" & 6" ? There was a source other than Gun Parts/Ebay etc...also, do the 5" & 6" barrels utilize the same length extractor rod as the 4" barrels ? I know 2" & 3" barrels are hot commodities now so I hope 5" & 6" will be more common. Thank you all for any suggestions.

Last two times I needed M-15 barrels I went to my local gun shop that had an inhouse GunSmith. He had a box full of take offs. Both my M-15s had cracked throats. I paid $25.00 for the last one and jumped at it.

I saw a 4" Model 10 Heavy Barrel in my LGS today... I think he must be a little proud of it at that price. They're out there, but not quite as common as they once were. I would expect to pay $50-60 for a nice one in 5" or 6" length.
And yes, AFAIK the same extractor rod is used for 4",5", 6", and even 8 3/8" barrels.

Don't worry about pinned/non pinned. It's easy to create the pin slot. Extractor rod is the same length once you get to 3 inch and beyond. And, there's no "the source" for revolver barrels. I can't recall if I've ever used him, but have you tried Jack First?

Jack First is awesome, and the folks there are top notch, but unless they are not on the online catalog they do not have 5" or 6" model 10 or pre model 10 barrels.
