My wife and I finally got to watch last Monday's episode of The Following. Kevin Bacon's character, Ryan Hardy, is using a M&P...it looked small enough to be a 9c(or 40c), but it could very well have been a FS.

I know Bacon is anti gun and it shows in his handling of the chosen firearm, but the show is well written, especially the first season. it was nice to see the Smith get some on air love, especially the on scene where you could even make out the M&P on the left side of the slide...

I saw that also. I thought it was a M&P Shield but couldn't quit tell if it was a 9 or 40.

I saw that too. In the opening episode of the season he used a 1911 out of his own stash as he was retired again. He held it on the guy he was rousting at the apartment hideout. Then I think during the the second episode of this season the M&P appeared. Thought it was a full size though but wasn't sure.

now that you mention it, i did see him with a 1911 in earlier episodes...i think the FBI took that one of the times he was cuffed and stuffed, keeping it like they have kept his cell phone.

I remember Bacon as a crooked detective who shot Denise Richards's character in, "Wild Things." I forgot the gun used.

These anti-gun actors use guns when they see a chance to make money in films while using them. I concede that Bacon is a good actor.

There has been an M&P handgun shown in The Walking Dead as well, I can remember it from a couple episodes.

it was in the governor/"brian" story arc...the girl that is currently "stranded" with glenn had one in their apartment...

wild things, one of the few movies that i did not figure out until nearly the end...

I've enjoyed many a Bacon films, and although he is anti-gun, i don't fault him or anyone else for it when it comes filming with firearms. I look at it this way...i have a job that i have to do things that i don't like to do. i need the job. granted, they could find another job, but then who would entertain us at their extremely high prices.
