M&P picture thread.

My more or less completed FS9 with APEX FSS & Trigger kit and Trijicon HD sites. Also my brand new 9 Shield I got on Tuesday. It's stock currently. Any issues if I want to change to an Apex Kit on this gun if it's going to be my EDC? Reason I ask is god forbid I have to use it in self defense and it being a modified trigger etc.

Eliminating Forum member opinions...I have yet to find an "expert" opinion that "ok's" any CCW pistol modification. They all seem to state "find a carry weapon you're happy with out of the box and leave it alone".

The above is an excellent expert article...

Just painted the M&P22

Slide is rustoleum primer gray, frame is rustoleum khaki.

That's certainly a different look. It looks like you did a nice job of it. Being a 22 I would guess it won't spend much time in a holster, but I still wonder how it will wear and hold up to powder solvent, etc.? (Now 73 people will tell me how they holster carry their 22's all the time )

IMO they look better once they get a little bit of wear and tear on them. Typically what I do once I paint a new firearm is throw it down my driveway a couple of times (to get that tier 1 operator effect) then repeat the process until you achieve the desired results.

Picked up a used safariland holster for a 45c on ebay for $30. Time to get a molle adapter and attach it to my SHTF battle belt.

The gun is a mismatch 4.5" 45. PD surplus lower, traded the 4" upper for a 4.5", swapped over the night sights off the PD slide.
