To be clear, I am not a expirenced shooter. I used to love to shoot my 686 when i was younger. Recently I purchased a Shield...well right after NRA show...Had James at XD do some sight work and install his part of Apex Kit. Finished install myself. Then I came across a Pro 5" and snatched it up. I cannot imagine two finer shooting guns. They fit my hands well, and really I am shooting pretty good with them. Only put about a hundred rounds through each but I love them. My Bodyguard...little harder to control. Think I sold.

Smith makes several BodyGuard guns. You may want to elaborate one which one you are referring to.

M&P's are IMO the finest duty/combat/self defense pistols made today, others may be close (XDms, Glocks), but in my eyes, M&P is king of the hill, and their American owned, American made, congrats on your purchase!

My first M&P was the Shield 9mm, then I was able to get a 9mm V-Tac at a good price and have been hooked ever since. I now own ten M&P models and love every one and have had ZERO issues. I have owned many handguns but none in my opinion shoot better or feel better then the M&P. The Sheriff's Dept here has gone to the M&P.40 and I'm jealous because I'm still stuck carrying the Glock:mad:

Good purchases. My M&P collection has been growing too - started with the Shield 9mm, then the 22, and just got the full size 9. Very happy with each.

I love my FS 9. The more I shoot these pistols the more I like mine.
