M @ P rear sight

Just bought an M & P Pro 4", problem was it shot 5" low at 15 yards, replaced rear sight with Novak adjustable and it shot 3" high at 15 yards with stock front sight. It seems from reading threads this is common without going to a taller front sight. My fix was to replace the 2 springs under the adjustable part with 2 spring boosters used with AR extractors. The sight now goes down further and lets me get it dialed in. I believe you could cut or replace the springs as well, just used the boosters as a trial to see if the sight would adjust further down, works great so did not try cutting or using different springs, really easy fix.
