I've seriously considered one of those. Maybe I should get on the stick and make up my mind, just not sure if the 3.3" gun is what I want. I was eyeballing the 4" PC version really hard, but can't find anybody who makes a holster for it.

Today, I placed an order for a Shield 2.0 in .45; and will be picking it up around 9:00am tomorrow. I have been using various M&P's over the years, but not just for sport; but as my regular carry, as well. ( Though I will admit my "leg" carry is not a S&W (it is a PPK 9mm short 'ie .380' the small size is perfect as a backup); I had been looking for something with a bit more stopping power that I could conceal with little problem. Though I do have a 9mm I wanted a bit more, so it was back to the .45 as I carried during my 30 years service. From reading the many posts here in the forum, I am positive I have made an excellent choice. I thank everyone for all of their excellent postings.

I picked up my new .45 this morning, and then went out to the range, as always, I gave the gun a cleaning, and then began. 100 rounds later, I knew I had made the right purchase. It was better than I had hoped it would be; and gave me that old feeling of my Colt Service pistols that I loved so much. An excellent item for a day at the range, and now to become my standard everyday carry.

You're going to like your new Shield 45. Mine is my EDC. It is more accurate than any pistol with a 3.3" barrel has any right to be. Mine has had only two failures of any kind in the last 4,300 rounds, so reliability has been excellent.
